Yoli Navas
Senior Advocacy & Innovation Strategist
Yoli Navas is a Senior Advocacy and Innovation Strategist at NEWCO Strategies, where she leads work across a wide array national, state, and local campaigns and movement organizations. She brings a decade of experience in political and issue advocacy campaigns, traditional and digital media, narrative and brand development, strategic planning, event management and coalition building.
Previously, Yoli served as Communications Director at Equis, where she established the organization’s communications department, managed a national team, and led the development and execution of communications and media strategies. She previously served as a Communications Director for a nationally-watched congressional race in New Jersey and also held roles at BerlinRosen and New Paradigm Strategy Group supporting immigrant rights organizations like America’s Voice, Families Belong Together, Alianza Americas, FWD.US, Defund Hate, and AAJC.
Her work has driven rapid response strategies and advanced progressive policy goals, and earned coverage in outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, Univision, Telemundo, NPR and NowThis News.
A first-generation immigrant and formerly DACAmented, Yoli is deeply committed to ensuring immigrant, Latino, and communities of color are not only seen—but heard and centered—in public life. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Women’s & Gender Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston.
